e-News® | The NEWS Company…RIYADH, Jan 10, 2016 : The Saudi-led coalition bombing rebels in Yemen denied Sunday renewed accusations of dropping cluster bombs in the country after UN chief Ban Ki-Moon said using the munitions would amount to a “war crime”.
The coalition “denies using cluster bombs in Sanaa”, the Yemeni capital, spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed al-Assiri told AFP, after Ban spoke Friday of “troubling reports” of the bombs being dropped on the rebel-held city.
