The pitch was already under covers. Water had accumulated in several parts of the ground. If the match start after 8.30 pm, there will be a curtail over game and if the match does not roll by 10.30 pm, Bangladesh and India will be the joint winners of Asia Cup. Earlier, rain which began at 6 pm, damaged to the big screen at the venue – the frame around the screen itself has been partially blown away by the wind.
