Alexander McQueeen has designed a couture bottle for Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Scotch whisky which will launch in time for Christmas.

McQueen’s unique design features the bottle clad in royal blue leather and topped with a hand-enamelled cap that appears like a glittering Union Jack.
The designer told Vogue: “This is a piece of art which reflects the luxury and craftsmanship values of what Haute Couture is all about.”
“You can see my signature ‘stamp’ with the blue leather ‘dress’ and the Union Jack colours,” he explained. “I have created a rare collector’s item that those with an eye for design will want to keep.”
The bottles will be strictly limited to a run of just 2,000 and will only be available from Selfridges for the price of £300 each.
