– AVST, Inclarity, Powernet, StarLeaf and Vanilla IP among those unveiling new products-
UC Expo 2012, 6 March 2012: Day one of Unified Communications Expo sees several companies launch new products at the UK’s biggest business communications event, taking advantage of the large and influential audience it attracts. Mark Spencer, CTO of Digium and Asterisk Architect, will also present a keynote at 10h00 entitled “The Business Impact of Choice Through Open Source”.
The two day event at London’s Olympia is demonstrating the value of ‘connected business anywhere’ to thousands of visitors from small to large organisations covering all key lines of business – HR, sales and marketing, finance and business IT. Unified Communications Expo 2012 is showcasing the latest technologies in Voice, Cloud, Mobile, Social Business, Visual Communications and Unified Communications (UC).
Among those officially unveiling new products is AVST, which is introducing the AVST CX-S, an affordable all-in-one UC solution for small to medium-sized businesses. The AVST CX-S delivers enterprise-class mobility and speech solutions on the industry’s most interoperable platform.
Also launching a new product is Powernet with its Video internet Broadband Enhancer (ViBE) cloud-based solution. ViBE helps small businesses and multi-site enterprises boost the performance and quality of internet and WAN connections, as well as enhance IP-voice services. ViBE enhances the quality, resilience and speed of data connections to provide increased uptime and superior performance.
VanillaIP, a multi-award winning and leading UK provider of hosted UC solutions, unveils its latest R17 Broadsoft Hosted Call Centre, which introduces a number of new queue and reporting capabilities. With the significant migration to remote working, these new capabilities give traditionally office based call centres the same ubiquity as regular UC users.
StarLeaf is debuting its voice and video communications solution, which keeps users connected whether at their desk or in a meeting room. This revolution in business communications combines several StarLeaf key technologies, including Starleaf Telepresence PBX 6000 series; StarLeaf Phone; and StarLeaf’s Personal and Group Telepresence Solutions.
Elsewhere Inclarity is launching the latest in fixed-line/mobile communications, a solution which allows an employee’s desk phone to be mirrored by their smartphone.
“It is great to see so many companies using Unified Communications Expo 2012 as the launch pad for their latest technology offerings,” says Hugh Keeble, managing director of event organisers, Imago Techmedia. “UC is really coming of age, which is clearly demonstrated by the amount of quality products and solutions that are being unveiled. Our aim with Unified Communications Expo is to showcase the latest and greatest in UC and we have definitely achieved that this year.”
