#thenewscompany – Bangladesh Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today said it is impossible to topple down the present government through carrying out secret killings.
“Bangladesh is now progressing in all sectors. On the other hand, Begum Khaleda Zia has begun secret killings to make the country unstable, but it is impossible to remove the government by carrying out such killings,” Hanif said.
The ruling party leader made this comment while addressing an Iftar Mahfil and discussion at the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) here. Bangladesh United Islami Party organized the Iftar Mahfil and discussion. Chaired by Party Chairman Ismail Hossain, Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam, Awami League Central Committee Member SM Kamal Hossen and Aminul Islam Amin, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Criticizing BNP leader Moudud Ahmed for his call to forge national unity against secret killings, the Awami League joint general secretary said, “We also want national unity…but those who talk about the unity are involved with such killings and people of the country know it very well who are behind the secret killings.”
