Rear Admiral M Khurshed Alam, ndc, psc (Retd), Secretary, Maritime Affairs Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the chief guest and the Vice-Chancellor of DU Professor Dr. A A M S Arefin Siddique & the VC of BSMR Maritime University Rear Admiral A S M Abdul Baten was present on the occasion. A Colorful Rally was organized along with banner, festoon etc from the Dept of Oceanography, DU, crossing some important roads and ending at the TSC. Mentionable is, BSMR Maritime University is going to enroll two Masters Programs namely LLM Maritime Law and Masters in Port and Shipping Management very soon.
