#thenewscompany : Two diplomats of Indian High Commission visited the killing spot of Hindu priest Ananda Gopal today in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila. Rajesh UK, First Secretary (Political and Information) of the High Commission and Ramakanta Gupta, First Secretary (Consular) also visited the Sidheshwari Temple in Naldanga and met members of Gopal’s family and expressed profound shock at the death of Ananda Gopal.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathies to the bereaved members of the family. Superintendent of Police, Jhenaidah, Altaf Hossain was present during their visit. Hindu priest Ananda Gopal was hacked to death in Jhenidah Sadar on Tuesday.
