London-based company, DatacenterDynamics Limited has celebrated its fourteenth year of operations with inclusion in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100. Compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each December, the league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
2011 has been a notable year for growth and expansion by DatacenterDynamics. The company, which provides knowledge and networking to the global data centre community via magazine publishing, research and seminars throughout EMEA, Asia and the Americas, has expanded its remit with introduction of training and accreditation for the industry through DCProfessional Development. Additionally, DatacenterDynamics Research published the largest and most comprehensive global census of data centre markets, benchmarking growth and investment.
Dan Scarbrough, co-founder and CEO, DatacenterDynamics said, “What a week! We’ve made the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, which is amazing; officially launched DC Professional Development – our global training and accreditation programme – and had our biggest ever DatacenterDynamics London event with 2500 delegates attending during the two days! It sets a high bar for the other 51 weeks of the year!”
George Rockett, co-founder and CMO said, “We’re delighted the growth of our business has been recognised by this Fast Track 100 listing. Since our first event in London ten years ago, we have continued to grow the DatacenterDynamics brand in data centre markets around the world. Today DatacenterDynamics is the leading peer-led conference series in the world and its name is synonymous with the industry. Our success not only demonstrates the strength of the sector and the central role of DatacenterDynamics, but the great team we have as well as the great support we enjoy from our community and the manufacturers serving the sector.”
The launch of DCProfessional Development in November 2011 combines the global reach of DatacenterDynamics with the intellectual property and training pedigree of Power Management Concepts to create a global training and certification business for the data centre industry. The new service meets a growing need for skilled and accredited people throughout all markets, highlighted by the Data Center Industry Census 2011.
The Census is the largest ever comparative study of data centre operators and end-users as well as the facilities which they manage. A total of 5,400 interviews were completed during June and July 2011 to provide a detailed view of 22 key markets around the globe. The Data Center Industry Census provides a useful method of comparing market profiles, describes key trends and attitudes within those markets, and answers a myriad of questions about the nature of this rapidly growing sector. Research findings are available in separate reports for free download from the DatacenterDynamics website.
