e-News® | The NEWS Company…DHAKA, Jan 3, 2015 : The government has decided to appoint Golam Moshi, a well-known politician and businessman with extensive experience in the field of oil & gas exploration, as the new Bangladesh Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Moshi, International and Diplomatic Affairs Secretary of Jatiya Party, has worked as the political secretary to Leader of the Opposition Begum Raushan Ershad, a foreign ministry press release said today. He completed his secondary and higher secondary education from Residential Model School, Dhaka and later received LLB degree from the University of Dhaka.
In his long association with the oil and gas industry as well as the telecom sector, Moshi worked as an advisor to the British Petroleum, UK; British Gas, UK; TOTAL Oil, France; Hong Kong Telecom; General Atomic, USA and Asia Satellite Co. Ltd, HK.
A very well-travelled and well-read person, Moshi visited many countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Japan.
He is married and blessed with three daughters.
