e-News® | The NEWS Company…DHAKA, July 19, 2015 : Police today recovered hanging bodies of a newly married couple from their rented house at Mirpur in the city this noon. The deceased were identified as Md Farhad, 26, owner of a saloon at Mirpur, and his wife Rupali, 22.
“We recovered the bodies hanging from ceiling fans with scarf from two separate bedrooms of a flat located on the ground floor at house no-1, section-10, block-B,line-5 at Mirpur around 12noon,” inspector (investigation) Md Shafiqur Rahman of Mirpur Model Police Station told #thenewscompany. The police officer said they suspected that the couple, who got married seven months back, committed suicide by hanging over family feuds and added that investigation has already initiated to find the real cause behind the deaths.
Bodies of the victims were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy. A process is underway to lodge a case to this end.
