#thenewscompany : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now in the United States in connection with the 72nd UN General Assembly (UNGA), has cleared a number of important files from Washington.
“The prime minister has cleared a number of urgent files from Washington in the last two days,” PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan told BSS today.
He said the prime minister earlier instructed her office to send all the urgent files to her during her stay in the USA.
“Following the directives, officials concerned of the Prime Minister’s Office emailed important files to the premier, taking the advantage of the digitization initiatives of the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” Khokan added.
Sheikh Hasina reached the US capital of Washington from New York on Friday afternoon after attending the 72nd session of the UNGA.
After staying in Washington for a week, the premier will leave for home on September 29. She will return home on October 2 via London. Sheikh Hasina arrived in New York on September 17 to join the 72nd UNGA session.
